Dad wrote yesterday that Purrs has not been seen for ten days, which means one thing for the little 17-year-old homebody. She went back into the haystack she came out of. I thought it might be the case when I left in July but the news still makes me cry.

Sorry to hear about Purrs. And congrats on the job change, I didn't think you really had it in you to be a russian prostitute.
Can't think of anything German or otherwise, that we are wanting for Christmas. Unless you can smuggle a case of Paulaner Hefeweizen in your carry-on.
