Here we are, October. I've fallen off the bloggin' wagon. Here was the transition back home in pictures:
Hiking near Arslanbob with some good ladies
my last weekend in the country
Modeling my going-away present from my colleagues, including
the wonderful Asel, my comrade in the admin office
Goodbye Manas - Kyrgyz love statuary and
have very grand ones everywhere
Goodbye strange 1980s Soviet propaganda painted
on the ceiling of the national museum
Transiting Turkey, a few days aboard a gulet boat before
meeting my parents for a few days in Istanbul
Coincidentally coinsiding my Geneva HQ transit with the Montreux
Jazz Festival, where I snagged a Leonard Cohen ticket from a scalper
Passing back through New York for the final debrief
Back to Wyoming and my sweet man, standing in a native American
Medicine Wheel near Centennial as the storm approaches
