Two Marches ago, I went on a ski trip in Kyrgyzstan. My colleague/friend Hélen Neyrand took these pictures as we traveled across the country in a minibus. I've wanted to publish them ever since. So here before the month gets away, are the evocative pictures of rural Kyrgyzstan. It was barren but I loved the simple details added for beauty's sake.
And two years later, I still often thank Tom for giving me his blessing to go. I'm so glad I did, even as I cuddle little Max to sleep as he's gone from sleeping through the night to waking up once to waking up twice a night. None of these moments last forever.
