Following a natural break between language school and the beginning of work, I've been holidaymaking around Perth since last week. After a fun stay with friends of friends in Dubai, I arrived here a week ago yesterday. Since then I've been with Australian friends I met in Kabul. I have other pictures on another camera card of a beach called Joey's Nose, and Quokkas (mini-kangaroos for those of us indiscriminate in marsupials), but here are two. The above is a house party in my honor, the below is a view from Rottnest Island with the Perth cityscape just visible at the right horizon.
