Glen jan

"Jan" is a term of respect or affection Afghans put on the end of anyone's name to which they wish to amend "Dear." It caught on with all of us.

Our friend Sarah said it best about Glen, "My dear friend and colleague was killed this week in Afghanistan. Besides being a kind, patient, and talented person, he was a model of selfless service and gentle caring. I feel blessed to have had the chance to know and love him - and devastated that he is gone."
