The object of The States Game is to be the first to travel to all 50 states. Airports don't count.
Thursday, Grandpa Ken won, going from 49 to that elusive - West Virginia. Sunday will have been 87 years in the making. For his birthday, Dad bought them both plane tickets to Charleston.
Did I mention they're Couchsurfing? Really Couchsurfing with a retired Army lawyer at his mountain lodge. And visiting the capital and going for a driving tour of "the nature."
Isn't that a great trip! Except Dad also gets West Virginia.
