Last night after 25 and 26 years of child rearing, my parents left Charlie the Youngest at Washington State University. He is seeking fortune and more specifically ESPN fame in Pullman.
So there they are, Danny and Lynnie, with no kids at home for the first time in their fifteen-year marriage. Pretty momentous. For the hot breakfasts, clean socks, piano lessons, homework help, watched games, horse-related C.D., camping trips, and daily prayers, thanks.
But never fear, in one month you will have two adult children and a son-in-law in your basement.

Wow! Congratulations! (I hope you're one of the adult children!)
We just got home from Pullman. I suppose relief will come but right now it is very empty, very quiet and very sad... we always had one more bullet in our holster... now we are drawing a blank and it doesn't feel so good. Mom
