J: Is it too late for a Jello salad?
H: It's never too late for an orange and carrot salad with mayonaise dressing.

J did in fact make an orange "jelly" [as Brits call it, because he found some at a store] with mayonnaise for the top, though unfortunately carrots are out of season.
