Western meadowlark


One of the most nostalgic harbingers of spring for me is a meadowlark. Here is a recording of a little guy who is singing his heart out, and a picture of one I saw two weeks ago.

Nostalgic for me too. There were tons of these at my grandparents farm in Iowa. I think they're my favorite bird. Thanks for good reminder.
